Rates/Tuition Policy
TUITION POLICIES 2006-2007 Tuition DepositsTuition for all Woodside school year programs is an annual amount that covers the period September 4, 2006 through June 13, 2007. One-tenth of the annual tuition is due and is refundable as follows: June 1 Tuition deposit due (the amount of one-tenth of the annual tuition). June 15 If withdrawal occurs by this date, a full refund of tuition deposit will be granted. June 30 If withdrawal occurs by this date, a refund of fifty percent of tuition deposit will be granted.
No refund paid after June 30, 2006.
Tuition Payments and Other FeesWoodside offers families three tuition payment options: The remaining tuition balance after payment of the tuition deposit may be paid in full at the beginning of the school year (September 5, 2006); the remaining tuition balance may be paid in two equal payments September 5, 2006 and January 5, 2007; or the remaining tuition balance may be paid in nine equal payments due the first of each month September 2006 through May 2007. Credit card payments may be authorized at no additional charge. Payment arrangements must be made in advance through the Director or Business Manager. Bank charges in the amount of $20.00 for any returned check will be reimbursed to Woodside. Tuition dollars are not refunded for holidays, illness, absences, vacations, inclement weather closings, or withdrawal from classes. Regularly scheduled parent conference or teacher workshop days are paid school days. No refund is available for these calendar days. Should unusual circumstances arise, parents are encouraged to talk with Woodside’s Director or Business Manager. A late fee of $10.00 is charged for each fifteen minute time period that a child is picked up late at the end of program time. Teachers receive the fee for overtime. Teachers may present delayed parents with a Late Pick-up Fee form to sign when late pick-up occurs. In this case, fees may be paid directly to teachers. If no Late Pick-up Fee form is provided, the late fee will be billed on account and may be paid to Woodside on behalf of the teachers. Woodside reserves the right to charge families a $10.00 late fee if tuition payments are received more than fifteen days beyond their due date. The Executive Committee of the Board awards available funds based on families’ needs. Applications are available in the school office.
