Toddler Program
The Toddler program serves children aged 18 through 36 months. The group size is a maximum of 20 children with 4 or 5 teachers depending upon the ages of the children. The Toddler curriculum goals and objectives focus on assisting children to learn about themselves, about their feelings, about others, about communicating, about moving and doing, and to acquire thinking skills. The teaching team help children learn through setting up the environment, by selecting toys and materials, interacting with the children, and planning activities. Learning also flourishes by building strong bonds with the children and their families. The Toddler teachers have over 18 years of combined experience. The Toddler teachers have the following education and credentials: BA in Liberal Arts with a state teaching credential, BA in Social Work with continued education in ECE, BS in Teaching Child and Society, AS in Early Childhood Education, Certificate of Competency in ECE and NHDHHS Child Development Bureau Associate and Lead Teacher Credentials.
