About Us

In 2016 Woodside at St. Pauls became apart of the Woodside School community. Woodside St. Pauls is dedicated to providing quality, developmentally appropriate learning and care in a supportive environment for all children and their families. Our curriculum is based on in-depth knowledge of how children grow and develop. Each classroom is designed to suit the needs, interests and developmental level of the children in that class.  

Infant Classroom

A Day in Infants

7:00-9:00 Arrival/ free play/ bottles/ diapering routine

9:30 Morning snack

10:00 Morning naps (young infants)

10:30-11:00 Diapering/ bottles

11:30 Lunch

12:00 Nap for older infants

3:00 Diapering routine/ afternoon nap (young infants) 

         Outdoor gross motor (older infants)

Our Mission

Woodside School’s Toddler Program provides quality, developmentally appropriate early learning and childcare starting at age 2. The toddler curriculum centers on helping children grow and develop while having fun. We focus on the things toddlers are most eager to explore. Toddlers learn about themselves and their feelings, about others, communication, movement, activity, and developing thinking skills. Our teachers help learning flourish by building strong bonds with children and their families. We select toys and materials and arrange the environment to enhance the learning environment.

Schedule 

The Woodside at St. Pauls toddler schedule is Monday-Friday 7:00-530 and offer the choices of M-F, M/W/F, or T/TH full days.  Our student teacher ratios are better than required by state licensing.

Our Mission

Woodside School’s Preschool program offers a fun learning environment for 3/4 year olds. Our curriculum is based on the knowledge of how children grow and develop socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically.  Our teachers respect and value the uniqueness of each child. By individualizing teaching strategies we provide the ideal environment and energy to make learning fun.


Scheduling

Preschool offers a schedule of M-F, M/W/F, or T/TH 7:00-5:30.

Pre-K Classroom

A Day in Pre-K

7:00-9:00: Children’s choices/ open ended activities

9:00-9:30:  Clean up and snack time 

9:30-10:00: Morning circle/ group activity time 

10:00-11:00: Learning centers and small group activities  

11:00-12:00: Outdoor gross motor activities

12:00-12:30: Lunch

12:30-1:00: Quiet time/ reading

1:00-2:15: Rest

2:15-2:45: Puzzles, books, STEM manipulatives

2:45-3:15: Clean up and snack time

3:15-5:30: Outdoor Play 


Our Mission

Woodside School’s Pre-K  Program follows goals and objectives outlined in the Kindergarten Frameworks. Children explore the areas of Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science. Children are given ample opportunity to explore and discover a variety of interests and environments. 


Scheduling 

​Pre-K is a 5 day program and families

​have a choice of 7:00-5:30 or 9-3.
