Infants
Woodside School’s Infant Program provides quality, developmentally appropriate early learning and childcare starting at 6 weeks to 2 years. The Infant curriculum centers on helping children grow and develop while having fun.

Infant Routine
7:00-9:00: Arrival/free play/bottles/diapering routine
9:30: Morning snack
10:00: Morning naps (young infants)

10:30-11:00: Diapering/bottles
11:30: Lunch
12:00: Nap for older infants
12:30-2:00: Diapering/bottles/wake up from nap
2:30: Afternoon snack
3:00: Diapering routine/afternoon nap (young infants)
Outdoor gross motor (older infants)
4:00: Bottle feeding
4:00-5:30: Free play/pickup

Toddler Program
Woodside School’s Toddler Program provides quality, developmentally appropriate early learning and childcare starting at age 2. The toddler curriculum centers on helping children grow and develop while having fun. We focus on the things toddlers are most eager to explore. Toddlers learn about themselves and their feelings, about others, communication, movement, activity, and developing thinking skills. Our teachers help learning flourish by building strong bonds with children and their families. We select toys and materials and arrange the environment to enhance the learning environment.
Toddler Schedule
7:00-9:00: Arrival free play
9:00-9:15: Diapering/toileting
9:15-9:30: Clean-up and circle
9:30-10:00: Snack time
10:00-11:30: Outside time or inside activities
11:30-12:00: Lunch
12:00-2:15: Stories and nap
2:15-2:30: Diapering/toileting
2:30-3:30: Free play
3:15-4:00: Clean up and snack/diapering
4:00-530: Outside play

The Woodside Toddler schedule is Monday-Friday
7:00 am-5:30 pm and offer the choices of M-F,
M/W/F, or T/TH full days.
Preschool Program
Woodside School’s Preschool program offers a fun learning environment for 3/4 year olds. Our curriculum is based on the knowledge of how children grow and develop socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically. Our teachers respect and value the uniqueness of each child. By individualizing teaching strategies we provide the ideal environment and energy to make learning fun.

9:00-9:20: Clean up and circle
9:20-9:45: Morning snack
9:45-11:00: Outside time
11:00-11:30: Small group activities
11:30-12:30: Clean up and lunch
12:30-2:15: Rest time/quiet activities
2:15-2:30: Clean up and meeting time
2:30-3:00: Afternoon snack
3:00-4:30: Outside or inside activities
4:30-5:30: Clean up and pick up
Scheduling:
The Woodside Preschool schedule is Monday-Friday
7:00 am-5:30 pm and offer the choices of M-F,
M/W/F, or T/TH full or half days. Woodside School’s morning preschool hours are 8:00 am-12:00 pm.
Pre-K Program
The Woodside School's Pre-K program prepares children for a successful transition to kindergarten through a comprehensive curriculum. Children explore the areas of Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science. Children are given ample opportunity to explore and discover a variety of interests and environments.

7:00-9:00: Open-ended activities
9:00-9:30: Clean up and snack time
9:30-10:00: Morning circle/group activity
10:00-11:00: Learning centers and small group activities
11:00-12:00: Outdoor gross motor activities
12:00-12:30: Lunch
12:30-1:00: Quiet time/reading
1:00-2:15: Rest
2:15-2:45: Puzzles, books, STEM manipulatives
2:45-3:15: Clean up and snack time
3:15-5:30: Outdoor Play

​Pre-K is a 5 day program and families have a
choice of 7:00 am-5:30 pm or 9:00 am-3:00 pm.
